About Me

Hello, my name is Jovana Milosevic. I am a Woman FIDE Master and a passionate chess coach dedicated to helping players reach their full potential. With many years of experience both as a competitive chess player and as a coach, I provide personalized training programs tailored to each student’s unique needs and skill level. My coaching approach focuses on identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance strengths and overcome weaknesses. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, I am here to guide you on your journey to mastering the game of chess. Let’s achieve greatness together!

Career Highlights

My notable achievements include winning first place in the Balkan Chess Championship and the South Eastern Europe Chess Championship twice. I also secured second place in the European Rapid Chess Championship. Additionally, I earned first place in the Serbia Youth Chess Championship and second place in the Serbia Women’s Chess Championship. In 2019, I was honored as the Minnesota Women’s Chess Champion.

Teaching Experience

I have a professional background in chess instruction, having taught extensively in Rochester, MN. My experience includes providing both individual and group lessons, serving as a principal instructor in diverse chess camps, and facilitating chess programs within community schools. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and skill levels. Currently, I offer online lessons.

I create online chess courses on Udemy, combining my expertise as a Woman FIDE Master and years of teaching experience. My courses cover a range of topics, from strategic planning to attacking and endgame techniques, tailored to players of all skill levels. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, practical lessons, helping students improve their chess skills step by step.
