FAQ – Advanced Level Chess Coaching

What level is advanced in chess?

Advanced players are typically rated 1600+ and have a strong grasp of tactics, strategy, and time control. They often compete regularly or are working toward chess titles.

1500 is considered upper-intermediate. Players at this level are beginning to transition into advanced play but still benefit from tactical sharpening and strategic guidance.

Chess may not directly increase IQ, but it enhances cognitive skills such as memory, concentration, and logical thinking—leading to improved problem-solving in and outside the game.
